THE ONE-PARAGRAPH PITCH

Marqee is a Mac app that lifts the messages that matter out of the daily flood of notifications and puts them in your notch. You pick your VIPs (a spouse, a boss, a client) and their texts and emails pin to the top of your screen until you deal with them, while everything else stays quiet. Verification codes appear ready to copy, media controls tuck into the notch, and one switch silences the noise without going dark on the people you can't afford to miss. It reads your Messages database locally: no server, no account, no analytics. Marqee is $25 once, runs on macOS 14 and later, and is built by a solo founder in the open.
